We just finished our trip to Paraguay, and we believe great things were accomplished. We started the pastors’ conference on Friday with a time of worship, with about 300 pastors attending and participating. The message served as a confirmation of the pastors’ unity for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, centered on the passage in Acts where Peter was held captive in prison bound by two chains. The speaker compared those two chains to the chains of intellect and tradition holding the church captive today. When the angel told Peter to stand up, the chains fell off, and he was set free. God was showing us that He wants the church today to experience that same freedom.
Later that evening, we held a women’s meeting where we shared that the bondage many women experience is not God’s plan. Words of healing and encouragement were spoken, and we believe all 315 attendees were blessed and truly received the message.
We also conducted interviews with various media outlets, answering their questions and trusting that God was glorified through those conversations.
On Sunday, each MSM team member visited a different local church. We saw many pray to receive Jesus, many seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and many receive healing through prayer.
On our final day, we sponsored a business conference with non-Christians in attendance. The entire room—about 235 people—came forward at the invitation to receive a “business anointing” from the Lord, as we have prayed for in other business seminars. Before the night ended, about 8 people prayed to receive Jesus.
Furthermore, we were invited to return next year to hold an evangelistic crusade in the football stadium, with local churches handling the logistics. We even had the opportunity to visit the stadium beforehand and pray for the Lord to pour out His Spirit during that upcoming event.
We believe this trip was incredibly fruitful, and we will continue to pray for Paraguay.
