Jim Thompson is speaking about how the Lord is currently moving in South America. Mighty Shepherd Ministries has been focused on South America for the past few years, and has more mission trips to South Amercia planned for the future.
God began to open doors for missions for Mighty Shepherd Ministries after He had instructed Jim to pray for 40 countries on a regular basis.

I began to pray for India 7-10 years before I ever went to visit. During that time of regular prayer, I was able to keep a visiting Indian minister in my home to help him in a fundraising trip he made to the US. I was impressed with how polite this man was. He was the leader of 1200 churches and 4 bible schools which was the fourth largest protestant denomination in India at the time. Not long after the man went back to his home in Kerala, God began to inspire me to go to India.
During the first week we visited different churches that opened the doors to us to share the message of salvation and communion with the Holy Spirit.
We had great meetings in Monteria this past week and believe God is still doing His promised outpouring in Colombia. We had 470 in attendance at the pastor’s conference and the presence of the Lord was strong in the midst. We visited some schools and had many young people receive Jesus, we had evangelistic meetings where people prayed to receive the Lord and received healings and were baptized in the Holy Spirit.
The Bible declares in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” God delights in giving His children the desires of their hearts when we seek Him in Spirit and in Truth.
