The trip to Peru was a time of working with the Church of God of Prophecy. The Bishop of Peru for the COGOP set up pastor conferences in three towns where we spoke to almost all of the COGOP pastors in the nation. Leslie and Jim spent time teaching and strengthening the church leaders as well as participating in some outdoor meetings for evangelism and church member encouragement. There were many leaders commenting that they felt this time was encouraging them to return to the things of the “Holy Spirit” and focus again on how God will lead them by the Spirit in these days. Many were baptized in the Holy Spirit and many received healing from the prayers that were prayed over the sick. God blessed these meetings with His presence and outpouring of His Spirit.
