Panama was a bit of a spiritual struggle before getting there, but everything worked out once we arrived. We had a youth meeting with Sebastian Garcia (a man from our home church) on Friday night after we arrived. The young people were excited to have someone close to their age to speak about the gospel to them.
They responded very positively!
Saturday morning MSM sponsored a breakfast for pastors and we had 345 attend.
The pastors said they had never gotten together like that before. It was a good ministry time as we shared the Word of the Lord and prayed for the pastors.
They received very well as God touched their hearts and brought a unity to the meeting. Many were healed as God also sent a healing word to benefit them as well. The message included a word that the Spirit of the Lord was there to do a new thing starting “today”. Many received the word and one ministry went back to their group and prayed for them to receive what was spoken in the conference. They immediately went to the streets to share the gospel message .
Sunday, we had our ministry team split up into three churches where the word of encouragement and blessing was spoken for the people. We saw more than 75 people pray to receive Jesus in a single church.
Monday we had a businessman’s gospel meeting with business leaders and they responded favorably to the gospel message and teaching about Godly business by Jim and Leslie Thompson.
Tuesday night MSM sponsored a woman’s meeting with about 1000 women in attendance. Jim and Leslie shared and the women received very well. It was a blessed time.
After the ministry week, some of the pastors asked if we could work together to sponsor evangelism in some athletic venues in different cities to prepare for a larger meeting in the stadium in Colon in the near future. We are discussing about returning to do those meetings in the future. Please pray with us about these things.
