We had a fruitful trip to Santa Marta in July. We were emphasizing the leadership training for the crusade meeting and we had about 1300 leaders in attendance. We also sponsored a woman’s meeting where we had about 1100 women in attendance who responded very favorably to the encouraging words that were spoken.. In our leadership meeting, our team members spoke on various subjects to prepare and encourage the leaders to be ready for the outpouring the Holy Spirit was bringing to Colombia. Pastors Angel and Marcela Rangel encouraged and challenged the leaders from their experiences in their church in Bucaramanga, Brother Alejandro and Sister Paola Cuineme shared about Christian family challenges in today’s world, Brother Camililo and Sister Leyla Vargas shared on the Holy Spirit moving today, Sister Juliana Rojas shared on Biblical finance practices, Sister Maria Fernanda Sandoval shared prophetically about what God is saying, and Sister Leslie and Brother Jim Thompson shared on God’s move today in Colombia and the vision the Lord has given for His outpouring.
MSM sponsored an evangelistic outreach in Santa Marta where the healing power of the Lord healed many people including a lady who stood up from her wheelchair unassisted and two blind people who received their sight from the Lord. While we were in Santa Marta, a group of pastors from Cienega (a town closeby) sponsored an evangelistic outreach where 980 people signed decision cards stating that they had received Jesus as their Lord.In addition to the events listed, we spoke in many churches in that week where God was present and salvations, healings, and many received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.We believe many were encouraged in the Lord by the time our trip was finished.
